Former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso has emerged the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The former Senator was unanimously elected by 774 party delegates of the party from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja through voice voice vote on Wednesday.
The NNPP is currently holding its presidential primary election in the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The former governor recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the NNPP.
