The embattled Ijebu East Local government area Chairman, Wale Adedayo, has regained his freedom from the Department of State Security (DSS).

Adedayo, who accused the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, of diverting the local government council fund was released on Monday, after being detained since on Friday.

Adedayo was detained by the secret police on Friday, in Abeokuta, following a petition on allegation of zero allocation to the 20 local government council areas from federal allocation by the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration in the state.
