Former senator and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Magnus Abe,  has dumped the party.

Abe, who represented Rivers South-East district in the upper chamber of the national assembly, in a statement signed by his spokesman, Parry Benson, on Wednesday , however, pledged his continued support to the presidential bid of APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“I have since left the APC in Rivers State, I am still part of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s family and has no issue with him whatsoever”, the statement read.
