Nigeria’s trade deficit in the second quarter of 2023 stood at N5.7tn, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), has said in the Foreign Trade Statistics report released on Thursday.

According to the NBS, the country’s total trade stood at N12.7tn while total exports stood at N7tn in the same quarter.

Also,  total imports for the second quarter also stood at N5.7tn
