Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo earlier today on the way to the airport, witnessed an accident and immediately stopped his convoy to help coordinate needed assistance.
The solo car accident had summersalted on the opposite lane and was impaled on a tree.

The Vice President was heading for the airport on a trip to the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo, in Ondo State, where gunmen attacked worshippers on Sunday.

His security and medical teams assisted in removing the victim from the crushed vehicle, and transported patient to Airforce base hospital.

Professor Osinbajo, who after the incident, proceeded on his trip to Ondo State, is currently at the St. Francis Catholic.

He is also expected to visit victims of the church attack at the hospital.
