Pioneer National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, has won his polling unit for the ruling party in Saturday’s Osun governorship election.
At his polling unit in ward 04, Isedo, Ila-Orangun LGA, the APC polled 140 votes to beat closest rival, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which secured 117 votes.
DIPLOMATIC DIARY recalls that the last election conducted on September 28, 2018, the PDP and its candidate, Ademola Adeleke had won Akande polling unit with 78 votes to beat the APC which secured 49 votes.
Akande had voted at Polling Unit 12, Ward 4, Ita Aewogbade, Ila Local Government Area in the 2018 guber poll.
