This followed the adjournment of the plenary on Wednesday by Senate President Ahmad Lawan till September 20, 2022.
Meanwhile, the Red chamber on Wednesday, said it would summon the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, over inflation and naira devaluation.
The la, who lamented the rising exchange rate, noted that the United States dollar to naira had now risen to N700.
The development, the Senators said, was sad and calls for immediate attention.
