Shake Up As NNPCL Makes Senior Management Changes

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has appointed new Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs)for the upstream, downstream and gas sectors.

DIPLOMATIC DIARY reports that the new appointment was sequel to the retirement of three EVPs.

The affected senior management staff who are due for retirement in 2024, include the Executive Vice President Upstream, Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye; Executive Vice President, Gas, Power and New Energies, Abdulkabir Ahmed; and Executive Vice President, Downstream Adeyemi Adetunji.

The new appointment was announced in a statement signed by the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Garba Deen Muhammad.

The statement reads: “In line with NNPC Ltd.’s commitment and drive for organizational renewal, anchored on our business imperatives, standards of excellence, people development, and strengthening our competencies and capabilities through broad-based leadership exposures, the company wishes to announce the following executive appointments with immediate effect:

  1. Oritsemeyiwa A. Eyesan, Executive Vice President, Upstream
  2. Olalekan Ogunleye, Executive Vice President, Gas, Power, and New Energy
  3. Adedapo A. Segun, Executive Vice President, Downstream
