At least three abducted passengers of the Abuja-Kaduna train have been released by the terrorists who attacked the ill fated Kaduna-bond train on March 28, 2022.
This came just a day after the terrorists released a video, threatening to kill the remaining hostages if their demands are not answered.
Suspected Boko Haram insurgents had on March 28 detonated Improvised Explosive (IED) in the train and forced it to derail a few minutes into the trip in Kaduna.
According to a BBC Hausa report, a relative of one of the kidnapped victims, said those released included 2 men and a lady.
The relative said the released victims were on the way to a health facility for medical examination .
Although details on the development are sketchy, it is not clear if any ransom was paid to secure the release of the three victims.
